The 4-door, 5-passenger SUV from Chevrolet received a five-star safety rating for both driver and front passenger in the frontal crash test conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) New Car Assessment Program.

The 2007 Equinox is available in two model grades – the Equinox LS and Equinox LT. Both are equipped with a 3.4-liter 3400 V6 engine and five-speed automatic transmission with Adaptive Learning Capability. The engine generates 185 horsepower and produces 210 lb.–ft. of torque. EPA estimated MPG 19 city, 24 highway for FWD models and 18 city, 23 highway for AWD models.
